The Minyip/Murtoa Football & Netball Club is calling for expressions of interest from females of all ages and abilities to play football in the Wimmera.

 

The Latest on Burras Female Football:

We are excited to announce the appointment of Nick Cushing as Senior Women’s Football Coach for the 2026 season.

Following last year’s Premiership success, the focus now shifts to building sustained momentum. Nick’s proven leadership, football knowledge, and strong connection to players make him the ideal person to lead our program into its next phase.

In 2026, we also aim to field an Under 15.5 girls team again and strongly encourage girls of all experience levels to get involved. Whether you’re new to football or returning to the game, you’ll find a supportive environment, strong development, and plenty of fun at the Burras.

Women’s and girls’ football continues to grow across the Wimmera, with more teams and opportunities emerging each year. We’re proud to be part of that growth and excited about what lies ahead for both our senior and junior programs.
